This classic is an original from the 1980s said by the seller to be in crackfree condition and with some patina and scratches in the shade.The slender, graceful and upward tapering metal stem is yellowing.Again, the seller says that this is quite normal in this item over the years.
The Panton Classic is much sought after and this one is no exception because of its provenance and the creation of one of the very best of the mid-century designers.
The distinctive mushroom dome shape and the light reflective qualities of the materials are the qualities I would enjoy most if I owned this lamp.
