This time piece made in the Lincolnshire workshops of Royale in the UK, designed and registered by David Breese, is timeless.The case is made out of colour etched lucite formica and the black finish has a rich lustre.The dimensions are: 47 centimetres (18 Inches)in width x 23 centimetres (9 inches) high, the face protected by glass is 7 inches in diameter.
As I said in a previous post the 1950s were very much taken with all things space exploration and designs in most things tried to reflect this time.It is smart, stylish and glossy and is recogniseably space age with its boomerang swish. This clock will appeal to fans of this period.It will also appeal to anyone who wants a a classy wall decoration that will go with just about any decorative style.
As the makers say this could be a collector's classic item. At the time of writing one was available.
